Long-term Joint Venture set to harness all current and further Irish offshore wind projects

Ocean Winds has co-funded the National Ports Study, Irish research on port preparedness for the large-scale development of offshore renewable energy.

Ocean Winds is starting public consultation phase for its bottom-fixed offshore wind project: Réalt na Mara (previously called-Cailleach Offshore Wind Farm) which holds an estimated capacity of up to 1,600 MW. Réalt na Mara is located off the coasts of County Dublin and County Wicklow.

Offshore wind developer Ocean Winds said Monday it is evaluating the expansion of its global offshore wind portfolio (1.5GW in construction and 4GW in development) to include Ireland.
